I'm a NSCA certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and GGS Pre & Postnatal certified coach, with a BS in Exercise Science from Rhode Island College. I'm a single mom of a baby girl and two fur babies. I've lived all over the country, but have made my way back to New England to settle down.
I started going to the gym 9 years ago because I was tired of being tired and unhappy. Through fitness I have found myself, my passions, and confidence inside and outside of the gym. I have struggled with body issues, disordered eating, depression, and injuries, and the gym was a huge part in overcoming them. Now I help people of all ages and seasons do the same.
I truly believe that movement is medicine and exercise has the ability to change your entire life.

I want to thank you Krystal, yet again, for the unexpected bonus of the workout routine that you have designed for me. As an older woman I have been disappointed with myself and my inability to play with my grandchildren comfortably on the floor then the difficulty in getting up after playing. Even though I have consistently worked out almost every day, I was only in my 50s (now is my 60s) when I found myself having to get on all fours before slowly getting up. It didn’t make any sense. After only four weeks with your stretching workouts, I am now comfortable playing with the kids on the floor and getting up easily and quickly and NOT on all fours. Thank you so much for changing my life

Working with Coach Krys has literally changed my life. I have struggled with extreme self esteem problems, to the point I was too afraid to go in the gym. Coach Krys was so patient with me and encouraged me at every corner. By the end of the 6 months we worked together I was able to successfully work out in the gym alone. My confidence started to spread to all areas of my life. I'm truly so grateful for everything Coach Krys has taught me and helped me overcome.
“I wanted you to know by the evening, yesterday, my hip was no longer bothering me. I woke up today with no discomfort in that area!”
I worked with Coach Krys for a couple of months to work on getting in shape for my PRT after a patellar tendon tear. I went from 205lbs and a 37.5in waist to 195lbs and a 36.25in waist and all of my scores improved! I really enjoyed working with Coach Krys because she was able to give me exercises around my knee injury, but still have an effective workout.
I didn't even realize how far I had come until I looked back at pictures. I just want to thank Coach Krys for getting me started, I couldn't have done it without her! I now squat 225 and even out-lift some of the guys.
I worked with Coach Krys after I injured my knee. I sprained my PCL and MCL and tore my meniscus. Ortho suggested surgery. I started with Coach Krys to gain strength before surgery. After 3 months of working with her, my follow up at Ortho went so well that I no longer needed surgery.
This whole experience of working with Coach Krys has taught me that I can eat to my calorie maintenance and still feel great and if I have an off day I'm strong enough to get right back on it! I love it I'm in a good place because of Coach Krys. Thankful for all her help.
My daughter was a client of yours some time ago. We were new to the area, and she was really struggling with our move. Your personal training was such a life saver at the time, as it helped her focus on something positive.
To this day, the things you taught her, she still applies in the Gym. She continues to weight train, and is an athlete in college.
